Charger Challenge
A track and field competition for grades 3-5
April 28, 2012 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Individual Entry Fee: $4 or *Register online $3 per athlete ($100 team max)
Admission: Spectators $3 Students $2
This is the eighth year for the Charger Challenge. Our meet has been a huge success in the past, and we hope to continue the tradition.
The meet is either for individuals or members of a school organization. If you are a school leader and would like to gather a team of runners for the competition, please make additional copies of the Team Roster form. Please send all forms along with the collected payments to Chattanooga Christian School. On the other hand, should your school decide not to attend officially, your athletes are encouraged to have parents to fill out independent entries and mail them to Chattanooga Christian School. Make as many copies as you would like or contact us and we will make copies available for you. All mailed-in applications are due by Saturday, April 21. Online registrants will have until Midnight Wednesday, April 25.
We hope that you will give serious consideration to publicizing and promoting the involvement of your students in this event. Please feel free to call or e-mail any questions. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are attending.

CHARGER CHALLENGE 2012
A TRACK AND FIELD COMPETITION FOR ALL KIDS GRADES 3-5
April 28, 2012 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Chattanooga Christian School
Awards will be handed out shortly after each race. Participants should wait behind the judges tent until they are guided to the awards stand. Field events will be awarded 30 minutes after the last contestant competes to ensure that all the contestants can participate (someone could be running and then have to come back and finish a field event).

High Jump will not be contested by grade.
Event Order (each event will begin right after the previous age group is finished)
Athletes must participate either in their own grade level or in a higher grade level for all events. Confirmation of grade level must be made by the parent or the administrator of the school competing. Students too old for their grade level will be required to compete in one grade level over their current grade. The maximum age as of September 1 of the school year is:
3rd grade- 9 4th grade- 10 5th grade- 11

These forms can be useful even if you intend to register online for organizing the information ahead of time. When you are ready, you can then log onto the www.coacho.com website, look for online meet registration, register your team, input a roster, and then enter your team into the races. It saves us a lot of time and mistakes, and it allows you to make changes late.
