Coachs Meeting: All coaches @ 12:15 noon

Events begin 1:15pm
3200m Run- girls then boys
High Jump- boys
Boys Shot Put and Girls Discus
Girls Long Jump

Session I Field Events (at conclusion of boys high jump)
Boys Long Jump (two pits)
Girls High Jump
Girls Shot Put and Boys Discus (start as soon as they are able to switch and have rested)

Session II Field Events (as soon as athletes are able to report)
Boys and Girls Triple Jump (two pits)
Conclusion of all field events (conflicting events)

Running Events- rolling schedule (hopefully by 2:15)
400m Relay
100/110m Hurdles
Awards presentation- 3200m, field events, 400m hurdles, 100/110m hurdles
100m Dash
1600m Run
400m Dash
Awards presentation- 100m, 1600m, and 400m
300m Hurdles
800m Run
200m Dash
Awards presentation 300m hurdles, 800m and 200m
1600m Relay
Final awards presentation- 1600m relay, team awards, and high scorer

Points of emphasis

1. Athletes MAY NOT wear jewelry-but the may wear watches.
2. Athletes/spectators CAN NOT run alongside their teammates during competition- this will cause disqualification.
3. Athletes MUST report by the final call- the official starter will not hold a race to locate athletes that fail to report.
4. Athletes competing in two (2) field events running at the same time, must check in both places and notify the official- he / she has 10 minutes to report back to second field event (high jump takes priority).
5. Only athletes that have reported for their event maybe allowed in the infield.
6. Coaches- are responsible to inform their 4 X 100 relay team members that the exchanges MUST take place within the exchange zone or risk a DQ.
7. Coaches- are responsible to assist in the meet when and where needed. The meet must run efficiently to maximize the positive experience for our student-athletes.
8. Only spikes that are 1/8 inch or less are allowed on the rubber surfaces of the track and field area.
9. Do not use tape or chalk or paint to mark the track. Any other non-adhesive, removable items that will not damage the surface are allowable.
