Who do you think will be the top finishers in regionals, individuals and teams? What about this Macy Parham from West Greene High School? I saw where she got first in their conference meet. Is she something for Barbara Ball to worry about in state?

Barbara Ball should have nothing to worry about at state provided she is healthy & ready to go. Macy is Game & so are few others that will probably be there but I ask you this: is there anyone in A-AA girls who can run close to 19:16 @ Percy Warner?

Yes I agree with you. Ball is the only AA runner who can run 19:16 on the state course. She is an incredible runner and has the experience since this is her 4th state championship (she ran in the 8th grade and got 3rd) she is the heavy favorite. I think the race will be for runner up between Macy Parham and Hannah Rhodes. Macy won conference @ Panther Creek (Very difficult course, much harder than state)But the week before she was beaten by Hannah Rhodes @ Daniel Boone which is where the regional meet is this Thursday. Both these girls are capable of running in the 19's @ state.

    Region 1 picks:

Girl's team title: Boy's Team Title:

    1. Greeneville 1. Greeneville
    2. Grainger County 2. Grainger County
    3. University High 3. University High

Girls Winner: Close Macy Parham & Hannah Rhodes- I'll say Hannah
Boys Winner: Wes Pectol..but this will be very close he finish 2nd to Lawson Burrows @ conference and the senior (Lawson) has the experience.

Looks like McIntosh from West Greene was a suprise to you. You didn't even have her listed in the top 10. I noticed where her first race was Bristol Cross because of possibly an injury? I'm honestly suprised she has done so well. But Cheyenne Upton from South Greene? She really suprises me. Crystal Pridemore got 12th, which also suprises me. She was running top 10 for most of the race. Maddison Melchionna done really well.
