  • Subscriptions keep the site going!

     I would like to thank everyone who is a subscriber. Thank you for your contributions. This site started as something that I thought would be fun to do (and it is). With some motivation from one of my former runners, Tennessee Runner was started. After a few months I joined the milesplit network and we have grown and grown. With plans to start middle school coverage this year and some college as well, Tennessee Runner is an expensive and time consuming hobby.

      In its 25th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade  Company, in collaboration with ESPN RISE, today announced Megan Ferowich of Knoxville Catholic High School as  its 2009-10 Gatorade Tennessee Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year.  Ferowich is the first Gatorade Tennessee  Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year to be chosen from Knoxville Catholic High School.

     In its 25th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade  Company, in collaboration with ESPN RISE, today announced Brandon Lord of Baylor School as its 2009-10 Gatorade  Tennessee Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year.  Lord is the second Gatorade Tennessee Boys Cross Country  Runner of the Year to be chosen from Baylor School.
