SMYRNA -- Going against lots of tough competition from Murfreesboro and middle Tennessee, the Cookeville boys and girls cross country teams came away with very strong performances Saturday at the Sharp Springs Invitational. Justin Morgan (16.47) and Chase Mussard (16.50) garnered the top two spots individually for the boys to help the Cavaliers cruise to the team victory in the gold division, while Will Hilton (17:29) and Stone Fagan (17:40) came in sixth and seventh.
