As in previous years, the Frank Horton Invitational will be run jointly with the Rhodes Invitational. The Rhodes Invitational (in its 21st year) and the Frank Horton Meet (hosted by Christian Brothers High School and in its 23rd year) have been held on the same date each year, but in different areas of Plough Park. Bringing the two events together (over 600 athletes in 5 races) on the newly designed and spectator friendly course will provide a great opportunity for athletes, coaches, and parents to experience cross country in the unique atmosphere of a large competitive meet.

Out-of-state schools: we plan to request Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Others upon request. Plough Park, located off Walnut Grove Road, between I - 240 and Germantown Rd. Course is on the Mullins Station Road entrance.

Course:
5,000 Meters (High School). Mostly grass with rolling hills and section of dirt trails. Wide open except for the dirt trails. Course is measured to 5K on the nose with time clocks at every mile marker!

Timing: Chip technology will be utilized as the primary timing and scoring system for this meet.
RETURN OF CHIPS: There will be a $30 per chip fee assessed for each chip not returned.
