10/18-Allentown Central Catholic girls-Parkland boys-Easton individuals @ Lehigh Valley

Easton has been watching this train coming all season, and today, it arrived at the first station - the Lehigh Valley championship. Allentown Central Catholic gears for the end of the season, and with their nine-point win over early season standout Easton, and 29-point win over league rival Parkland, they delivered a message. This year will be another one in which ACC will challenge for late season glory. Marcie Sobrinski led ACC with her 2nd place 19:04, with Maureen Watson in 7th and Meghan Burns in 8th, plus 10th (Heather Griibb) and 14th (Megan Kinsella) places for 41 points. Easton\'s Chanelle Price beat the field with an 18:53 win at Lehigh.

In the boys race, Parkland is at the top, with a 23 point win over Easton behind the 3-4 finish of Tim Stepp (16:28) and Ryan Ritter (16:37). Easton\'s Brett Colin took individual honors with his 16:16. Reilly Costigan-Humes was 8th for Parkland, with Matt Gilette and Matt O\'Brien in 13th and 14th.
