The #10 team in the Northeast in the pre-season NTN rankings, Allentown Central Catholic, was upset at the 9/3 Northampton Invitational by Easton. As one coach observed, \"Price changes XC in AAA in PA.\" While we don\'t yet have results, Easton Volunteer Assistant Coach Chris Mertz reports that Price – the state and USATF runner-up in the 800 – \"made the transition from the track to XC look easy.\" Her teammate, Angela Borealo, was 2nd as the Easton girls beat pre-season PA#1 Allentown Central Catholic. Colin Brett of Easton took the boys race with a CR, breaking the mark set by Tyler McCandless of Northampton in 2004. The Easton boys also won, as Emmaus took 2nd.
