Music City HS Indoor Invitational Celebrates New Brand

Music City HS Indoor Invitational Celebrates New Brand

Nashville, TN - Knoxville Youth Athletics and Nashville Youth Athletics have combined to create one of the best indoor track meets in the country over the past 5 years. The Vandy HS Indoor Invite attracted talent from Texas, Maine, Florida and Illinois to Nashville for a top flight event on one of the fastest tracks in the US. Meet director Chris Kane saw an opportunity to create an exciting new identity for this meet starting with a name change. "The Music City HS Indoor Invitational name celebrates the city of Nashville and is a nationally known nickname for this great city. We are excited where this branding could take this meet in 2019 and years to come."

New events have been added for Freshman with the 60 dash and 1 mile and the schedule has been reworked to better highlight some of the field events. "This meet has continued to see interest climb every year and we saw an opportunity to highlight some of the most popular events. With the 60 and 1 Mile being the most popular events, adding the Freshman events allows us to expand entries to those events while bringing attention to the future of our sport." Kane said.

The meet again highlights the Pentathlon which has proven to be a nationally attractive event with so few opportunities for athletes to compete. This event has a first-come, first-served aspect to its entry process. Please check out details about that event as entries are OPEN: http://knoxvilleyouthathletics.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/2019-Music-City-Pentathlon-Information.pdf
