Northeast Junior Calandra Henry swept the 100m and 200m. She is a top #15 statewide performer in both distances going into Sectional weekend. Here's what she had to say after her 100m victory.
Calandra also anchored the Northeast 4x100m team to a victory. The relay was made up of two sophomores (Amaya Moore, Ayanna Ledlow), a freshman (Natalya Bryant) and a Junior (Calandra). Here is the squad post race.
Beyond the sprints, Rayven Thomasson, a Junior, qualified in both hurdle events winning the 300mh with a time of 46.95 and got second in the 100mh with 15.97.
