Last year at the Texas Distance Festival, McKinney North's (TX) London Culbreath ran 17:13.89 to take the win in the girls Elite 5K. Her time was just off the meet record of 17:08.42 set by 2013 Southlake Carroll's (TX) Courtney Kriegshauser. This year Culbreath will be looking to again chase the record and see if she can break it.
