Easton graduate, Tennessee-bound and US#2 all-time 800 runner Chanelle Price was named the 2008 Gatorade Athlete of the Year at a luncheon prior to tonight's ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, California. Price was presented the award by 2003 winner, and Olympian Allyson Felix.
All Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year nominees walked the ESPY red carpet and were featured as special guests during The ESPY Awards Show Wednesday, July 16 in Los Angelos. The show will take place this evening and air on ESPN on Sunday, July 20, at 9:00 p.m. EDT.
