Potential NFL #1 Pick Jalen Ramsey Flashed His Speed on The Track First

After a stellar NFL combine, Sports Illustrated wrote that former Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey has a chance to be the #1 overall pick. But track fans have always known that Ramsey's speed was measurably fast.

In 2015, he won the ACC long jump and finished 14th at NCAAs in the event.  He also ran a windy 10.61 in the 100 and ran a leg on FSU's ACC-winning 39.28 4x100 relay last year. And we have tape on Ramsey from even before that. Above is Ramsey winning the 400 at the 2013 Tennessee state meet in 49.27 seconds; he also took third in the 100 and 200 that year. He ran those races--which you can watch below--in 10.70 and 21.85 seconds, respectively.

We didn't need a combine to tell us that he was fast.
