Important Information for Athletes and Coaches of Athletes Qualified for the Tennessee State High School Indoor Track and Field Championships " 2/28/15
- If you are planning to enter the meet, online entry will open on 2/18/15 and will close 2/24/15. We recommend only those that have “auto qualified" at either the KYA High School Indoor Classic or the Vanderbilt High School Invitational enter prior to 2/22/15 as the descending order list is subject to change based on the final weekend of indoor meets (weekend of 2/21/15). If you are a descending order list qualifier and you choose to enter before 2/22 you will be placing your entry fee at risk, as there are no refunds.
- When entering online you will be required to edit athletes in your roster to indicate school in the drop down menu (in place of city and state).
- When entering relays online all team members must be from the same school (even if you are entering as Club XYZ " all four members must attend the same school). Remember relay uniforms must match.
- When entering online use your 2015 INDOOR PR. Marks will be verified. Those that submit bogus marks will be eliminated from the field.
- The host hotel for the meet is the Holiday Inn Convention Center. Call 423-282-4611 and ask for the special State Meet rate, which includes breakfast. A great deal for incoming teams and athletes.
- Minimum measurement marks will be enforced in the field events (LJ /TJ / SP / WGHT). They will be set at the lowest entry mark for the field. The first legal attempt will be marked " then the following attempts will be subject to the minimum measure mark.
- Opening heights for the vertical jumps will be set one bar increment below the lowest entry mark in the field.
